PER CURIAM. We affirm the order granting the writ of prohibition. The court correctly concluded that the defendant was entitled to discharge under the speedy trial rule; the state impeded preparation of the defense by delays in providing defendant with requested discov [514] ery materials. Colby v. McNeill, 595 So.2d 115 (Fla. 3d DCA), review denied, 604 So.2d 487 (Fla.1992); see State v. Del Gaudio, 445 So.2d 605 (Fla. 3d DCA), review denied, 453 So.2d 45 (Fla.1984). Affirmed.
