Welcome to Freecase.ai ("Freecase," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing, browsing, or using freecase.ai or any subdomain thereof (the "Site"), including all content, information, services, APIs, and tools provided on or through the Site (collectively, the "Service"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and Freecase AI, Inc.
If you do not agree to these Terms in their entirety, you must immediately stop using the Site and the Service. Your use of the Service constitutes your binding acceptance of these Terms, including any modifications that we make. We may update these Terms at any time by posting revised Terms on the Site. Continued use of the Service following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of such changes.

The Freecase MCP connector (freecase-mcp) allows AI agents to search the Freecase database via the Model Context Protocol. Use of the MCP connector is subject to the following additional restrictions:
Paid subscriptions are processed through Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's terms of service and authorize recurring charges according to your selected plan. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis at Freecase's sole discretion.
Freecase reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice. Freecase shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service.
Freecase may, at its sole discretion and without prior notice, terminate your account and access to the Service for cause, including but not limited to: (a) breach of these Terms; (b) requests by law enforcement or government agencies; (c) discontinuance or material modification of the Service; (d) unexpected technical or security issues; or (e) extended periods of inactivity. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
THE SERVICE AND ALL CONTENT PROVIDED ON OR THROUGH THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO CASE LAW, STATUTES, AI-GENERATED SUMMARIES, HOLDINGS, ANALYSIS, CITATOR FLAGS, SEARCH RESULTS, LEGAL RESEARCH GUIDES, AND ANY OTHER MATERIALS (COLLECTIVELY, "CONTENT"), ARE PROVIDED FOR GENERAL INFORMATIONAL AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY.

Freecase claims no copyright in any works of the U.S. Federal Government or U.S. State Governments, including court opinions, statutes, codes, and regulations. These documents are in the public domain to the extent provided by law.
Third-party content, including court opinions sourced from public records, remains subject to any applicable copyrights and terms of the original source.
By submitting any content to the Service (including feedback, bug reports, or suggestions), you grant Freecase a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, modify, and incorporate such content into the Service without compensation to you.
Freecase respects the intellectual property of others and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512). If you believe that content on the Service infringes your copyright, please provide the following information to our Copyright Agent:

Freecase may elect to resolve any controversy or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms by binding arbitration in accordance with the commercial arbitration rules of the American Arbitration Association. Any such controversy or claim shall be arbitrated on an individual basis and shall not be consolidated in any arbitration with any claim or controversy of any other party. Judgment on the arbitration award may be entered in any court having jurisdiction thereof.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Freecase regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
The failure of Freecase to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
You may not assign or transfer these Terms without Freecase's prior written consent. Freecase may assign these Terms without restriction.
Freecase shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemic, war, terrorism, government actions, internet or infrastructure outages, or labor disputes.
Freecase reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on the Site with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
