Union Pacific Railway v. United States

The Chief Justice delivered the opinion of the court, December 21, 1885. Subsequently, on January 18,1886, the Chief Justice delivering the opinion of the court, the Supreme Court, upon a motion for a writ of certiorari on behalf of the claimants, reaffirmed this decision and denied the motion.
